Never heard of Viera.
Is that somewhere by Orlando or Tampa?

So Im assuming our OF is Galvin, Torres and Dwill?I think we are fine in outfield with Galvin and Dwill return.
I'd look for us to add bullpen arms (Lefties especially) and maybe a SS if Ogden leaves
East of Orlando, he also was a miami native as a kid

Viera is where the Marlins and later the Nationals used to spring train, isn’t it?North of Melbourne and Palm Bay, next to Cocoa Beach on the East coast
Finally, someone opens their eyes. You can’t hate on a guy who did what he did. A win away from Omaha and the 16th ranked team at the end of it, is a blessings for how we started.I’m not the biggest JD guy either but we were literally a single win away from Omaha
I know, right? He did such a terrible job this year. They lost by one run in deciding game on the road. So far way!wow. Huge pickup. Arteaga still won't lead us to the CWS
Still didn't make it to the dance, dude. If you are okay with the University of Miami baseball team not making the CWS, by all means, defend Arteaga. There's a difference between an also ran and a champion.I know, right? He did such a terrible job this year. They lost by one run in deciding game on the road. So far way!

Very rational view.No one hates JD, he’s a good guy and he’s a Cane through and through. We hate how and why he was hired, when there were a plethora of more qualified candidates that we seemingly refused to even consider. As well as the overall direction of the program.
That bull club was not an Omaha level team, and it was not the 16th best team in the country. We had some things go our way with how the bracket played out and getting hot at the right time. However, I give credit to JD and the team for how they finished the season and made a run there in the postseason.
That said, I like how next years team is shaping up and I think he has a chance to earn some leeway with the fan base. I can admit I’m excited for the season for the first time in awhile.

This is one of the most rational POV's I've seen in a while on here.Very rational. Miami is not a top 16 program in the country and our diehards are embarrassed by that.
Posters using the “hate JD” rhetoric are either super homers or connected to the program.
Our diehards here hate the state of the program and the hiring process. When it comes to JD, there are accurate concerns about development, in game coaching and the rumors around his view on NIL.
No one hates JD.
Build on the finish and get back to being a blue blood.
Keep up the balanced reporting and insight from behind the scenes. A lot of your posts have been spot on and a breath of fresh air, including your acknowledgement that constructive criticism from knowledgeable posters can be a good thing. This is one of the most rational POV's I've seen in a while on here.
Miami can be a blue blood while not being a current national powerhouse (The two are typically paired but that is not the case). We are behind in NIL, we are behind "Powerhouses" in facilities, and yet we still are a blue blood program by history.
The standard is and will forever be Omaha (That is Miami baseball), but the expectation needs to reflect where we are as a program. The steps are being taken to return to glory, and while it may suck to go through the process, that's what it's going to take to return to the standard
Hate the state of the program that finished 1 game away from Omaha? Got it. Extend JDVery rational. Miami is not a top 16 program in the country and our diehards are embarrassed by that.

What’s his current deal run through? No doubt he’s got at least 2026-2027 unless 2026 is an absolute disaster. I think the roster is at a level above that being a possibility right now.Rad should give JD a 3 year extension, He has earned it
