Guess we got a cat
OkHas he? 5* OL in his 3rd season splitting reps at LG. If that's "good," then "good" isn't good enough.
Besides, my point was it's easy to find an exception where someone who dominates lesser comp goes to college and continues to dominate. But every year there are also kids who fail when they step up in competition.
That said, in Bowers' case you had a lot more data suggesting he'd be fine with the step up in competition. Yeah, he went to school in Napa, but besides having exceptional height/weight/speed and dominating late, he had a lot going for him. Excellent athletic pedigree with both his mother and father being very good college athletes. Bowers went to camps and showed out at Nike (against real competition). He also played football for multiple seasons, and he had absolutely crazy production in high school.

They have no idea til he gets on campus against D1 athletes and see how he responds.. Atleast give it til spring.. His high school tape against po lil timmys looked good thoDo they see colston Loveland type skill set with mueller?
That tape was juiced up ..lol i gotta hype our players. I know I'm jumping the gun way to early but I'm just viewing it with my shades on.They have no idea til he gets on campus against D1 athletes and see how he responds.. Atleast give it til spring.. Huge Bears fan here and not a fair comparison for Mueller, Loveland is gonna prove to be a unicorn (if he hasn't already). If Mueller could be our Kmet I'd be thrilled.Do they see colston Loveland type skill set with mueller?
Oh believe me, I am right there with you.. Im in the portal forum wit @Calinative/ @grover scratching my head wondering wth is going on with the position. I hope this kid hits big because the other TE recruit need to be with QB Coleman eating everything they see, atleast a couple years off.. If this kid is a miss we are in trouble for a position even in down years we have recruited very well and have great tradition. That tape was juiced up ..lol i gotta hype our players. True. At some point we need consistency from that position group. Bauman has been great at blocking, but that has also crippled us in our passing attack and could be a reason our offense hasnt thrived like with cam.Oh believe me, I am right there with you.. The TE coach is starting to get sideyes because position is starting to lag.
Yall spoiled with tight ends. Dolfan right here.. so, yea.Huge Bears fan here and not a fair comparison for Mueller, Loveland is gonna prove to be a unicorn (if he hasn't already). If Mueller could be our Kmet I'd be thrilled.
Ben Johnson really favors the TE when he has one to use, made LaPorta an instant star and I think Loveland will be Williams' Kelce.Yall spoiled with tight ends. Dolfan right here.. so, yea.
