I’m big on the kid from BC. I think he can fill nickel or be in line like Thomas.

Idk why any CBs on the roster wouldn't have been begging for Nickel reps all season to get experience there so far. And same for the incoming CB class. I think Jaelan Waters should want to compete for the nickel spot right away too ..

We really need Fitzgerald to really take a leap next season though so him and Poyser can be locked in.

After what I saw on Saturday I would not be surprised to see Fitzgerald playing Nickel next season. What he did early in that game was pretty amazing for a guy playing that postion for the first time, and as a true freshman.
 
Please help save me some time. Can anyone share his speed numbers, if they exist?

He looks quick enough on film. I'm in the group that wants to portal in a Nickel and keep Fitz as a Safety.

Agree on keeping Fitz at Safety and finding nickel or going with one of the young guys IF Hetherman feels they are ready. I trust em.

I agree, we should have Fitzgerald at Safety and probably be one of the leaders in the country in Cover 1 rate.

I mentioned this before but the safety from BC is who I’ll target. I think he can replace Scott or Thomas.

Don’t know much about him but I’m sure there will be some attractive options, especially after seeing how Scott performed and elevated his stock and play in that role.

if thats who talking about i coached omar since he was like 10.

its the same youth team and friend circle of zayquan patterson, cj ewald, vince chavers (nebraska) etc. that i told dmoney about when they were 10 year olds. lol

They had interest last off szn. I grew up and went to hs with his family members.
