**** dis SumBitch kan recruit! If he kan only get out of his own way on Gameday
This..... and That!!!because he lives in manhattan kansas...not a lot of teams are scouring there for talent. lol
He has all the big ten offers midwestern kids get.....and colorado tried to get him. gators, tenn, ole miss for the sec d*cksuckers.
He committed at the army all american game last year and thats where i remember him from.
Kid is a freak show. 6'2+ 190 sub 11.00 40 time, wr skills i legit think he can play there, and hes a hitter.
Agreed. But if you also told people the first two years were going to have a record of 12-13 you’d maybe see some more of the frustration.I think if we took most of the board and sat them down the year Mario got hired and said year three he’d go 10-3 and have the first overall draft pick, year 4 10 wins is again realistic and we’d have two top 10 picks, most would’ve accepted that happily.
Does things in the present reality kinda blow considering we’re losing to teams inferior to us suck? Absolutely. But anyone saying the program hasn’t moved up a tier since Mario got here is naive.
The floor has raised here considerably since Manny. That can be true while still being disappointed by some of the on field issues this year.
I agree. I’m not saying it’s been perfect or anything close to that. It’s just what’s the 1000 foot view rn? We can be rightfully frustrated but at the same time, we do have to give credit where it’s due.Agreed. But if you also told people the first two years were going to have a record of 12-13 you’d maybe see some more of the frustration.
The floor has been raised but our coaching staff hasn’t proven they can get the most out of the players yet. We had nfl guys transfer and play great at other schools during that two year losing period.
I’m happier now that the floor is higher and we’re getting big dudes at the LOS and bigger bodies overall. Wish our coaching staff inspired a little more confidence when we’re playing against teams we should beat
I think its a little early to say 10 is the floor, definitely without a doubt to early to say 11.I agree. I’m not saying it’s been perfect or anything close to that. I do think Mario has done a good job at identifying the issues and trying to address them quickly rather than sit on them. Which is an issue his last four predecessors didn’t do, whether that was keeps underperforming coaches, schemes, etc.
I do wish he’d just let go completely of the offense and trust his coordinator. But he’s shown he can get the right pieces for an absolutely elite offense and he can get the pieces for a very good defense. I think it’s clear that 10, maybe 11 wins will be his floor. With the occasional everything hits at once. I just don’t see him cratering to like 7-5, 8-4. That’s just my opinion until we leave the ACC.
We’ve had at least 6 wins 8 games into the year the past 3 seasons. We did that 4 times total from 2005-2021.
I get being frustrated but people calling for his job and acting like we’re the same or even worse than before he showed up is just people being stuck in the past, and that past is WAY in the past.
I think he will continually get enough talent at the key positions that ten wins will be the regular imo. The biggest caveat is playing in the ACC. It might not be the prettiest 10 wins but that is what I anticipate him managing here.I think its a little early to say 10 is the floor, definitely without a doubt to early to say 11.
Out of the four post-Coker, pre-Mario Head Coaches; the one who is a current p4 head coach was the worst recruiter out of the four.what legit p4 coach have we had, besides washed up Mark Richt?
Not that this will change your mindYeah it sounds like KState never really pursued, they just had a hat on the table cause of his dad. He didn’t even OV there. And he goes to school in Manhattan?
We already know Kansas State lost the Sunflower Showdown battle for Manhattan High star athlete JJ Dunnigan. Will the Jayhawks hold onto him, and who else is still recruiting him? We have the latest intel on his recruitment.
In the latest podcast episode of 'Verbal Commitment' on the KC Sports Network, hosts Kevin Flaherty and Ryan Wallace featured an interview with a Top 5 player in Kansas for 2026 in Manhattan's own JJ Dunnigan.
Chatting with the Wildcat legacy, who is the son former Bill Snyder defensive back James Dunnigan, after a victory over Lawrence Free State last Thursday night, the interview featured several questions regarding his rising recruitment
Knowing his lineage and having watched Dunnigan ahead of others, K-State's staff has been among the most involved from the start on Dunnigan. Just last week against Free State, three assistants were sideline to see Dunnigan perform including Van Malone and Matthew Middleton, whose son is a teammate of Dunnigan's for the Tribe. The following night, Dunnigan was in attendance for K-State's drubbing of Arizona, already his second stop to Bill Snyder Family Stadium this fall having already witnessed the UT-Martin win. Still, it's early enough in this process where Dunnigan wants to see from and listen to all comers.
Hes got fantastic size. 1st round measurables
