Miami is going to blow out FSU

FSU is still the team that’s gotten blown out by Syracuse and VT... just bc this is a “rivalry” doesn’t mean some special magic is going to happen to allow them to compete with this team for 4 quarters. NoT the same as when we were able to keep our games close when we sucked bc we were never as terrible as they are now even during Golden’s years.

Our players are going to be locked in and more dominant then last nights game against UNC... this **** is a wrap. They’re losing by 30 points minimum

History tells us Miami/FSU will generally always be a four quarter battle regardless of records.

They still have elite athletes and their mentality/effort playing against Miami will be a lot different than playing Syracuse/VT.

My reasoning for thinking it will be a blow out is based on what I've seen, not just being a blind homer.

I don't make crazy predictions pulled out of thin air, yall should know by now, my sh*t is well researched & not just looking up stats. I've watched their games on replay & they are not a good team by any estimation.

They give up 377yds per game total, 279yds per game passing, but their run defense is good only giving up 97.5ypg. But Va Tech got 112yds & forced 3INT's, Cuse rushed for 222yds & had 441yds total, plus dominated time of poss 36:53 to 23:07.

FSU's Defense is weaker than its been in years past, their secondary doesn't have an elite game changer like they've had with Ramsey.

And their Offense has been even worse, they're 13th in the ACC in rushing, they rush for 2.9ypc & have given up 12 sacks this season which is the most in the ACC.

Their best WR's are Keith Gavin & Nyqwan Murray, their RB's have been extremely overrated Akers has only rushed for 274yds this season & Patrick just 153yds & most of those came from Samford & NIU.

If this game was at Trailerhasee, then yeah I would definitely think it would be a close tough game, but @ The Rock I think they run into a buzzsaw. I'm not saying it's going to be a cakewalk, I'm saying they'll give us their best shot & our counterpunch will be so heavy & impactful that they can't deal with it.

Just go watch the Cuse game, they quit, they flat out didn't wanna be there. I'm not underestimating the rivalry game, that locker room isn't built the way we're used to with FSU teams, they got a punch of selfish guys who don't give a fck at all. And... You can't count out how much of a Corch Taggart is, it's not just the on the field performances, he's not a leader they respect & they don't respond to him the way it would be necessary for them to get up big for this game.

I agree with everything except I think Terry is their best WR. They just can't get him the ball.

This game and the Florida game are literally the only thing they have to play for at this point. They still have a ton of athletes on that roster and a ton that we wanted as well. I just hope that when we get the lead, Pastor Richt shows no mercy for once and smashes them like the God damned Ninevites.

I want to destroy them. I want to crucify one of their players to the goal post and use others literally as a semenhole, but this is a rivalry game. Remember in 2002, we should have destroyed them and we had to rally back and escaped because they missed a kick again.

This ain't your daddies Seminoles. They have talent but are poorly coached, lack discipline with a scheme that doesn't fit their personnel.

All I know is come next Saturday it's gonna be loud as fu*k for them and something they may not be prepared for

He’s really not, I’ve been saying how overrated he is. He averaging 4.6 ypc this year and that’s with playing 2 cupcakes
With the way our D has been leaking during runs. Need to keep an eye on him

Offense needs to show up for 2nd half next week.. 2 weeks in a row we looked disinterested 2nd half.. not sure we can expect 3 TDs from the D week to week.. tho sure we can force turnovers

Not completely disagreeing with you. But that kinda happens sometimes when you’re up by 20+ at the half.

They only leaked runs vs unc for sure... ,1 run vs LSU and a few qb runs vs Toledo and that’s about it for the season

Shows no mercy for once? Have you seen the score from last night? Did you see the Notre Dame game last season?

Fsu will use the unc blueprint , pre snap movement , motions and use Francois legs.

Use our aggressive play against us , they run a spread o with tempo so they could expose us , especially with busted assignments. We have a handful every game.

It’s a rivalry game so I don’t view it as a cake walk or a gimmie. FSU pulling an upset could turn their season around , and get some fans back onboard with ***gert. It’s a huge game for them. A bad loss could take their season to a real dark place.

If we come focused and not over looking them we should win. Our front seven “ should” be a huge mismatch.

But you never know with 18-22 year old kids.

+1000. This is a rivalry game. They still have a lot of talent and run a lot of similar run game schemes as UNC. Francois can actually throw the ball and is accurate where we are most vulnerable (up the seams)

This is a rivalry game, expect the unexpected. We will win but it will be closer than the experts think.
Every single time, outside of 2001, we have not blown them out when I thought we would. I thought for sure we’d mail them in 2002, and we barely survived. Last year they were a dumpster fire as well, and it was far closer than I thought it should have been.

Also, don’t let the Samford game fool you. Remember the time VT lost to James Madison, or whoever it was. We all thought we’d pound them. They beat us.

Fact is, FSU will show up and treat this game like the Super Bowl. The only way we blown them out is if we start fast and demoralize them. If we let them hang around, it’ll be another nail biter.

All that said, nothing would make me happier than to beat them badly.

Do you also remember who was coaching those Canes? We should have blown out many teams in '01 and '02, including OSU with the talent those teams had, but had one glaring weakness that lead to the down fall. Coker!

FSU's coach is worse than Coker.

Nah man, we shut it down to early. Elite teams dont shut it down coming out the half, you want to atleast have your offense execute coming out the half and put a drive together to ice it, especially since we didnt score 2nd half against FIU week before. Watch all the top teams (which we are striving to be) and they are on that ***. Saban will kill someone if they just go thru motions for whole half. I can understand 4th qtr but coming out of halftime you need to develop killer instinct from offensive stand point. Rep that ****, dont want trend of lax offense after halftime.

Heck the head coach even second guessed himself in postgame interview about shutting it down to early, its not good when you have that many young guys who needs the reps. Defense overshadowed those issues and made it fun as **** tho! But its something to keep an eye on.

Meh, I'm not buying the rivalry stuff. Gorlden's best Miami team went to Tally and got waxed 41-14. They're entering a whole world of pain when they get off the bus next Saturday. Our boys are coming for blood. We'll probably be a two touchdown favorite and win by more.

It will be a 95% Miami packed stadium.

And the fans smell blood.

I was at Notre Dame 2017, but this has the potential to be absolutely one of the ugliest atmospheres that FSU will play in.

Someone needs to chuck a beer bottle at their bus when they come in. ;)
