Miami is a clown show...

Zion so slow off the ball it’s scary ...until that OL improves this season gonna be hard to watch
We didn't expect it but CMU DL attacked our OL. Our guys are young and they're going to get out toughed by some DL's. CMU controlled the run game by out physicalling our team. Its going to happen again this year. When it does its going to be another tough game.

How are we different than Richt right now??
Honestly think we are worse. He was a terrible OC but a much better leader. Manny looks lost. Going for it on 4th down in the first quarter against Central Michigan and not converting? It was like 4th and 4. Punt the ball. No reason to give them anything to celebrate at that point. He got outcoached. C Michigan had better talent that would have been a blowout. All the critism and little shots he had about Richt and his tenure and look at how his first year is starting out. If he had come in humble. Said we have a long way to go. Fans would be disappointed but understand. He set very high goals and expectations. He was talking about Charlotte in the off-season. Well now it's time to get judged by his own standards. When the touchdown rings came out I thought we may have a problem. Corny.

Why did we take in Martell? Was it because we wanted to run a faster offensive scheme with dual threat QB’s?
Williams is the most accurate passer we have, but he can’t thrive in this environment.

I keep saying Rick caused irreparable harm to the program not because of his coaching on the field but because of who he hired and who’s job he saved.

People were out for blood for both Folden and James’ heads. However this all changed overnight when James ‘hired’ Rick. WTF did Blake James do to bring Rick here? The answer of course is absolutely nothing yet he was forgiven by all and thus became new Sam Jankovich Jr. in a single day.

The other disaster was hiring Manny. That day is firmly engrained in my memory . I began to ponder “Ok we are like seriously f*cked for all of eternity.” It’s not because Manny is a bad DC which BTW I think that he is. It is because we would never be able to get rid of him. He would persist like a bad cold or virus and guess what? Here we are folks! People will defend Manny even if he goes 2-9 it’s pointless and useless arguing with these folks.

Imagine being a recruit who took the time and money to come to that game and watch Miami STRUGGLE AT HOME AGAINST C MICHIGAN. Attendance across the board is about to get embarrassing. Y'all really want change. Administration and staff... Stop going to the **** games. I feel sorry for the former players and coaches co signing Manny and his approach. Look worse than we do. Who knows maybe he turns it around.

I just wish we had an Offense...

Sigh...
You know this pains me to say but Mullet ordinarily runs that offense with a QB like a FB. With Franks out, he’s not running Trask the same way. He’s using him in a way that suits his Skill sets. if Enos keeps running this offense with play action with this OL then we’ve got another stubborn corch.

This is the thing. He can be the best QB, but not be the best guy given the situation we're putting him in. With this line, someone who can extend the play with his legs and who has pocket awareness is the key. Tate or Kosi would have some interceptions and lower completion percentages, but I guarantee they'd also have many more big plays.

Sam Jankovich was under immense pressure by fans and the players to hire Gary Stevens when JJ left and guess what? He did what great ADs do he filtered out the noise and brought in Dennis Erickson. They wanted to run his @ss out of town until Erickson brought in one back offense and lit up scoreboards. Hiring of Stevens would have been a complete disaster but having a competent AD in place helps to mitigate against these train wrecks.

Fast forward to 2001 and the players insisted on hiring Clappy. Then the players insisted on hiring Randy and now the players and fans want Diaz so now it’s Manny’s turn to completely f*ck things up!

Without a complete ***** from top to bottom this program is going nowhere fast. Who on the BOTs or in the admin has the cohones to do this? I say nobody zero!

I was a huge Stephen Ross critic but at least give him props for finally realizing its time to gut the place and start over.

I don't think it's going to be fans defending Manny as much as an admin that won't view our paying the Temple buyout as a sunk cost. I'm not out on Manny yet, way too soon still (which isn't to say I was ever in on him, definitely not the hire I wanted and it was a joke to not conduct an actual search, but ya gotta give him some time). I just hope that they'll be willing to pull the plug after year 2 or 3 if this is what we still look like. My fear is given the money spent they'll give him 5 years.

I’m not giving up on Manny after 2 games I gave up on him the day he got hired. The results are predictable but it isn’t just Diaz. The decision makers are completely and totally useless at this point.

Told y’all boys, pay for a Temple coach, get Temple results. Having said that, I can’t wait for this clown coaching staff to get shxtcanned.

This all day long. Hiring a coach from a failed staff never works.

Terry Bowden was a failure and he hired Dabo. All these formulas don’t work. Richt was fired from UGA after a 9 win season. We would love a 9 win season at this point.
