This season is survive and advance like the tournament. At the end nobody will care how you got to the final 4 or 9 wins it’s victory at the end of the day.

Beat NC State and 8 wins is likely. I still count the tech game as a win anyways. 7-1 great season so far!

TBH, can’t complain about 8 wins after last season. Unfortunately, that will be our ceiling until we have a special QB

If we beat GT and only have one loss at this point the narrative is way better….

You forget how you got the win but just that you got the **** dub.

Just win dammit… idc about style points anymore to try and win JS heart anymore just win.

100% that if we were 7-1 instead of 6-2, all we would be discussing is how Mario and Miami win close games.

I agree with just about all of what you're saying, except for that last point. If Miami is 7-1, there would still be plenty of *****ing on here about having close games against UVA and GT. This is CIS.

Sure but close games can be seen as positive if they result in wins. Our problem and Vegas’ problem is that we expect Miami to win by double digits, mostly because of how we played against TAMU.
conference games are also typically closer games.

Reminds me of the "Cardiac Canes" in 2017 right? Always held back by some unit, that time was Qb, same thing here
