Yea he’s getting worked tonight, he’s giving them too much respect in my opinion with this soft *** zone..press them take away the free underneath **** and pressure Edward’s he’s mid especially under pressure.

I'm curious, do some of you watch college football outside of Miami? IU needed OT to beat a decent Minnesota team, AT HOME. This isn't 10 years ago where Alabama's bench would beat 95% of the teams on the schedule. The day some of you start viewing college football through the lens of professional football(Where the margins between the top end teams and the middle is narrow), the more a lot of this stuff will make sense.

Who knows if we have a good pass rush or not. We play such soft coverage that the QBs are able to get rid of the ball almost instantly to open WRs. You’re not going to get much pressure with the way we are playing coverage. This QB is not good, he’s average at best, and that’s honestly being kind. Yet he’s like 14-18 so far because he’s able to just play pitch and catch vs soft zone. We are playing defense like we are a MAC team playing a top 10 team, just trying to keep everything in front of them.

You're asking Heatherman to break his own tendencies. And now you see why Bobby Petrino has always been among the best in the bidnizz at game planning offenses. He always forces DC's to work against their own tendencies.

I'm not sure how this is Heatherman's fault when nobody on our team can tackle or finish a TFL/Sack.

But that’s known.
We have been one of the worst tackling teams all year.

So stop running a defense that is designed to encourage teams to drop it short in space and your guy come up and make the tackle to limit the gain. We can’t do that. We couldn’t do it last week. Couldn’t do it the weak before that.. Couldn’t it do it the week before that. Won’t be able to do it next week. So stop.

Only issue with scoring on that play is UNC have 40 seconds to match to midfield and then pitch and catch Hail Mary
