Miami Hurricanes Roster Comparison - 2024 vs 2023

Looking at the ratings I honestly am shocked we have only signed 2 blue chip OL in 2 years.

I think our WR room is looking pretty great, we just need the young talent to step up. Our Underclassman WRs have the best Average 247 Rating of any underclassman position group on the team. Pretty impressive considering what we've done at EDGE/DL the past 2 classes.
I like our WR room, I just wish we had at least one big imposing WR. This is where missing on JJ sucks.

Trader and Chance are both over 6’1” tho. Last year yeah they were slot guys. And I think Carr can do it all too.

Def gunna miss Colbie though. Hopefully Horton can fill that role well

11 DT is crazy
We're overleveraged at that position. I called out the Aggies for being overloaded at the position in 2023 and they had just one more than Miami:

I can't imagine all four of Gore, Moten, Horton and Campbell sticking through Winter/Spring camp. My best guess is 2 of them are gone by April. Campbell and Gore are definitely on transfer alert.

I think this is the one position group where you can be overleveraged and it not be a bad thing. You are likely going to rotate 6-7-8 regardless of talent and it is also the one group on D that makes the greatest impact on the game.

Looks like we’re more talented at DL and LB, less talented at DB, QB, and OL, and more or less a push everywhere else.

Could really use a few key portal additions but there’s a lot to like about the roster imo

I think it’s fair, under normal circumstances I’d predict us at 9-3 which is around a T-25 team. Not with the current QBs on the roster though, so holding out hope for baby Tua and I’ll revert back to a 9 win season.

I think Louisville is too low, I have them better than FSU right now with their work in the portal.

I also think Penn St. will regress, and don’t expect OU to finish Top 15.

KSt is very interesting, they have a chance to make a run in the BIG 12 with a talented Avery Johnson handling the offense. If I remember correctly @Memnon was a big advocate of his game, and he looked solid in the bowl matchup vs. NC State despite having very little collegiate experience.I don’t think they’ll miss Howard much.

We shouldn't be ranked. I can see many fans around the country laughing at seeing Miami on this list. We have too much unknowns going into next year and thats with Tualia as our QB

I missed your comment lol. I wish I saw it before I posted mines. Those are the 2 guys I have on transfer alert too

Not interested in being ranked. We’ve so often underachieved that would prefer to sneak up, be a surprise rather than a joke.
