Miami Hurricanes already named top transfer portal winner this offseason

Samson, McCoy, and Rodriguez all have a fair amount of snaps under their belts. We'll have a dropoff on OL play, but I don't think it's as bad as some posters make it to be. Obviously injuries could derail things.
I don’t see the drop-off in offensive line play that people keep talking about. The 2023 line was clearly better than the 2025 group, and that unit started a true freshman CiCi at RT, a true sophomore Coop at RG, and Rivers, who was transitioning to LT after starting at LG in 2022. What we saw in 2023 closely mirrors what 2026 is shaping up to be: a highly rated true freshman in Jackson stepping in at RT, a true sophomore the staff is very high on in Buchanan at RG, and a LG (McCoy or Sampson) sliding over to LT.

The biggest difference is the added practice and development time the team gained from the playoff run. That extra month of practice was essentially like getting an additional spring, and Jackson was part of the team for every one of those sessions.

Mario and Mirabal have been building top 10 offensive lines for over a decade. They recruited these guys, they’ve been developing them, and they know exactly what they have in the room. I could see adding a depth piece, but I firmly believe the personnel already on the roster is more than capable of forming another top 10 offensive line.

Did a transfer play at center during Mario's first season? I don't recall, but thinking this is the first season we didn't bring in a C transfer. Difficult questioning Mario and Mirabel when it comes to their OLine. They preached all season how imperative the OL was to the team's success.
