I’ve been searching for an official team football for years but have only found “game used” ones on eBay at exorbitant prices. However, I recently found this website:

They seem legit. Has any one bought one yet?

Go Canes!

Have you considered that it’s a legit Adidas dime football, but that they added the logo themselves. Seems kind of odd that this oddball website is the only one that offers the “official“ Miami football but you can’t get it on the Adidas website or anywhere else. I would be skeptical, I’ve never heard of this website

i got curious and checked. it's legit. that company is a university supplier.

also makes sense for a third party to produce the balls for nike/adidas for college ball. since the ball has to be within certain parameters and not a uniform item (otherwise there would be a standard ncaa game ball) each team can get exactly what suits their players best. little things like shape and material can make a huge difference, and the brands don't have the resources to dedicate to fit those preferences. a specialist can manufacture to preferences and just slap the right logos on them.

I had time to research further and, I concur, they’re legit. Check out these old tweets where they tag UM directly (It’s interesting to note that we switched from the “RIFLE” design to the “DIME” after Coach Richt arrived):
