"From what we’re hearing, I would be surprised if Norton and junior defensive tackle Richard McIntosh Jr. return for their senior season. Both know they have NFL futures. But I have no independent knowledge of a final decision by either.

"Richt said he has received no indication that he will lose any coach to another school. There has been speculation on social media that receivers coach Ron Dugans might join new FSU coach Willie Taggert with the Seminoles. But Dugans was at UM practice on Tuesday."

Nope. If he leaves it won't be until after the Orange Bowl.

FSU can only bring on 2 assistants right now anyways, which they have, because only 2 left with Jimbo and the rest are coaching their bowl game
 
Horrible article just regurgitating what’s already been said. Nothing new. Old info. The info on Kendrick and rj is just old.
 
Bs, he could have left a couple days after Willie was hired if he was offered and wanted to leave. And he would have been within his right to do so as that’s just business. Instead he was out flying around with richt recruiting.

Dugans doing Richt a favor by not leaving before the early start signing period and Bowl game. Just my thought

That doesn’t make richt or dugans look good as it would be obvious to everyone that he stayed on specifically for that reason and people would feel duped.

If Dugans was going he would have went & tried to take the recruits. If you don’t think so your nuts.
 
Jg, exactly. At the least if he was going he’d have gone to hit the recruiting trail for FSU instead of watching them lose recruit after recruit. They will have a horrible class this year and it’s gonna be part of the reason this staff will be gone in 3 years. He’d want to secure his future as quick as possible.

Norton is leaving cause he wants to be selected in the 5th Rd or later. What a terrible mistake by him.

It may be easy for you to turn away money. But many of these players come from rough backgrounds economically. He has to do what he thinks is best for him.

I don't blame him. We need to recruit well enough to have quality depth behind him. The top teams lose Juniors all the time.

Brewster left already. One went somewhere else. Coaches can up and leave whenever. They just can't coach until the following season if I'm not mistaken.
