Miami has the number #14 and #16 recruiters in NCAA football

Take the list with a grain to salt, A&M has 2 in the top 3,ND has 2 in the top ten and Texas 4 in the top 25....just saying. It is about subscriptions and the "hot" program right now.

That's a crappy ranking, check out the 2013 one and tell me Trickett is the 39th best recruiter out there, even a FSU fan won't be able to believe that...

Don't buy Kehoe at all. I still remember his bumbleing of the Max Jean Giles recruitment. Ridiculous.

That's a joke. Kehoe barely touches but only a handful of recruits. No way he is better than Barrow and Golden for that matter.

Isn't there an outstanding recruiter at UW for the DL? Tosh Lupoi. I thought this cat had some rave reviews as a recruiter.

by the end of the year brown will be high on that list with coley and kehoe, the guy is a beast recruiter and ver very underrated

With the class that we are about to have coming in. Everyone on our staff is going to be at the top pretty soon.

Also, had this confirmed by one of the GAs recently, recruiting is done by region and not by position. Although I imagine the position coach gets involved at some point.

247 is doing everything conceivable to corner the recruiting market. The Schurbert fellow references a "recruiting national championship" often enough, and I assume it is part of their internal rhetoric. The composite was an attempt to nullify the need for a significant number of visits to other services, even altogether, and entrench themselves as a singular stop. The crystal ball is a furthering of that aim (though they are usually very accurate), but rating recruiters has no merit until NSD. At all. It's also far too large for precision and ground-zero knowledge of who actual produced the commitment. Perhaps most alarmingly, as of this post no bagmen were credited.

Yes. They have lapped the field in useless information, married with some good predictions. Their ratings are not exceptional, and fall prey to the same fanbase catering blind spots of all others.

But I do believe they work/try harder than any others service and it isn't close.

Meaningless. I remember the days where Hurtt and Barrow were tops in the country.

Recruiting specialists are a dime a dozen in CFB.

The crystal ball is a furthering of that aim (though they are usually very accurate)

Disagree with this part. 10 minutes before Kyle Allen decided yesterday, their "crystal ball" said 51% Tex A&M. 30 seconds after he chose, it was 91% Tex A&M.

They change it constantly and all the way up until the decision. They shouldn't call it crystal ball. Should call it something else, like "We'll guess, but we'll change that guess even after he picks"
