The Miami Hurricanes coaching staff is on the move again, reaching out to Robert Morris guard transfer DJ Smith through the portal.



On Sunday afternoon, Tobias Bass from Twitter shared that four schools, including the Miami Hurricanes, have shown interest in Robert Morris transfer guard DJ Smith since he entered the transfer portal.

Seems to have found his 3 point stroke last season after three seasons where it was missing.
 
Like who exactly? He’d probably be our 4th guard in the rotation
Not sure, I haven't looked at all of the PG options in the portal. But id take the LSU kid over him.

I dont like this dudes size or turnover ratio.

His only positive seems to be 3pt shooting. Which I guess is a dire need.

Just hope we can find better for the backup PG.

What three PGs do you have in front of him? New Mexico kid and Dante aren't even true point guards. Pretty sure this is the backup PG position.

LSU kid committed to Memphis. Smith averaged nearly 10 ppg for a team that won their league and gave Alabama a pretty good scare in the 1st round of the tourney - and played well in that game.

As a rotational guard, he's a take all day.
