Miami has a time management coach

Is the clock management coach going to tell Mario other incredibly obvious tidbits like “hey we’re down two scores in the fourth, let’s stop using the whole play clock like we’re up two scores.”?

It's been my understanding that every program has a coach that does this exact thing. So again the only thing that needs to change going forward is for Mario not to overrule that coach like he did vs GT.

Saying they knew the process already but didnt follow it makes you wonder if the rumors about wanting Chaney over 100 yards were actually true.

I'm sure they are true. Here's what I don't understand. At that point in the game you could just feel everyone could that we were lucky to be in position to take a knee and win because it felt like everything was against us. Momentum, atmosphere, officiating everything. At that point you forget about anything else you may have wanted to do, you take a knee and get the heck out of there with an ugly but hard fought win but Nooooo! FML

Nobody seems to like to mention that! I'm not as down as Dawson as most posters. His prior success is proof plus he was severely hampered by poor , accident prone quarterback play.

The less Mario does during games, the better! I am all for it.

Now, get someone to manage taking a knee.

On top of this he said we already had someone and he just didn’t listen to that guy lol so we should just wait to see if he does for a year to see if anything changes

And our coaches keep saying they have been talking to nfl guys about stuff like this and im like bro why tf wouldn’t u talk to other college coaches?? Nfl game is different and just because they are in the nfl doesn’t mean they are good at time management

It has to be Cam Ward.

As much as I blamed the coaches for calling a play with the game in hand, TVD should have had the football IQ to know that whatever the **** play is called he's tucking that ***** and kneeling it out. If coach wants to chew me out for it later, let him do it; but he'll be chewing me out after winning a football game.

Might be harsh but TVD was dumb as **** and lacking balls in that moment. Some people get this misconception that QBs are wholly subservient to the Coach or the OC or the playbook and that is just not true. Situations on the field change and a playbook can't account for every minutia. That's why they call them "game managers", not "game servants".
