That was my big knock on Ward as an amateur scout - wasn't enamoured with his deep ball.

I think you need a good deep ball to be a good NFL QB. Have to be able to punish teams when the opportunity is there - always felt like Ward was just slightly off. So is Lawrence, for what it's worth.
