Our coaches used to leave for the pros, now they get fired or retire and don’t hear from them again. Coker, who most thought sucked at-least got a gig as a HC again.

I just cut the cable cord other day and had planned on going to either a sports bar or a friend's house to watch the game. My couch and cold beer sounded better. I just followed the gameday thread lol.

This simpleton drivel is nauseating. This isn't a binary issue, we have corches and we have ****-bag pussie players. We have had these issues for over a decade. The whole thing is rotten, from the core, including 90% of the players that have passed through here in recent years. They are under-talented *****-asses for the most part coached my amateur bartenders and HS football coaches. Stop with the old, tired, gibberish about it's not the players. Our fat little freshman QB with the arm talent of junior high backup QB literally gifted the game to them within 12 minutes. Those throws were made by a bad player, no matter who is corching them up. Enough of the low-IQ takes.

Lol he was the only one and it was some expansion team in Texas. A national championship coach. He should've been embarrassed to take it.

But that just lets you know how bad the hires have been.

Manny will be back producing at ESPN at this rate.

I had the same feeling leaving the game today, and I am a season ticket holder and don’t want to go to another game this year.

At least my kids will have the stadium experience and I'll be able to leave before traffic gets bad without missing anything good.

Listen i think the boys make the SB this season and im a gmen fan. I was excited for the Daniel Jones pick anyone can ask @OriginalGatorHater and i hated Haskins he sucks. Also called the Peppers over Landon Collins ****....i love what the giants r doing. Its a complete reset to the worst gm we have ever had

I don't see it with Nebraska but if I had to bet between them or us being back I'm going all in on Nebraska. At least they have the support and infrastructure.

Tennessee I can see them havinga great season every 3-4 years but they will never be a perennial unless bama and Georgia take steps back train the next three years.

Texted the thread title to my best friend after the 28 0 start and still feel that way even after the attempted comeback. Just numb and dead inside after so many long years of the same **** over and over.
 
The college football landscape has changed sine we last ruled. A school of our size can not compete in the college football of today. We do not have the $ to spend on coaches and support staff. I have followed Canes football since 1981, I realized what we witnessed today will continue to happen as it has over the last 17 years. We can recruit the talent but will never be able to elevate it to the level needed to compete with the large state schools that currently dominate college football.

This afternoon, I got a haircut, then went to the casino to pick free gift card, and play slots for three hours because football was on the tvs over the card games. Won a few hundred, pick up Pad Thai noodles with shrimp for the wife and myself got in car and turned off the radio -- checked score when I got home and decided I made all the right choices.
 
In hindsight we sold our soul to the devil when Paul Dee let the players hire Coker. If we'd gone out and hired a real coach back then, with the momentum we had, god only knows where we'd be now. Maybe Ed and the boys woulda been ****ed about an outsider, but we'd be in a better place right now. Slappy burned this to the ground.
