UM & Duke Grad here....ALWAYS root for the Canes first! Duke second...ok, maybe third just bc they financially raped me in tuition for Grad school.
 
Don't care started following basketball first... my dad went to Duke vs UNC game in 98 I was 8 watched it on tv then fell in love with Duke basketball.. And I hooped didn't start playin and watching football until I was 10 and I found out a cousin of mine played for the Miami Hurricanes that's Clintt Hurtt the loved them ever since.. Football became my passion then and my number 1 sport.. It's Canes football then Duke basketball then the NFL even though I hate pro sports now..

Other than u being a Duke fan(obvious reasons lol) there is nothing wrong with what u are saying....


Edit..... Now if u are a fan of Florida, fsu, or notre dame in one sport and a fan of Miami in another..... There is no reason of excuse for that....

These aren't professional sports. You don't choose one from column a and one from column b. It's the University of Miami. They have numerous athletic programs. Support them all, not just one.
