  • Would be shocked if JoJo flips. There will be rumors, but he's not flipping
  • Regardless of Saturday's announcement, Zaquan will end up a Cane [he's said this previously, so not a new prediction]

Comments

  • Franklin was a recruiting L. No way to spin this. All 3 teams had the same NIL $ on the table, grandma wanted him at Ole Miss
  • FSU is dropping bags for verbals and then for the commits to recruit other players. Unclear if they will have the NIL funds for signing day also
  • Doesn't like the fact that Zaquan didn't announce this weekend. F$U is throwing massive bags around for verbals. Michigan is a concern here too
  • UF leading for Mincey right now

F$U is playing a dangerous game here. Its not like they're a bag school from the $EC who have a get out of jail free card from the NCAA. If they get caught, they won't get a slap on the wrist.

I’ve been clear since this all started Miami will not play that or bags. They know the deal. It hurts us especially with early commits but you keep chopping wood until the end.

7/2 is a miss or a push. We have 21 commits. Not 18-19.

Otherwise, 21/25 top recruiting classes have 18+ commits. That's nit a prediction, it's common sense (and ignores the range given).
 
Remember the guy posted that video saying the recruit showed him deposits of FSU paying him even while uncommitted. All it takes is one kid. Like i said i was skeptical of the source but its plausible because Norvell is a bum on the trail for 3 years he been there.

Miami has NIL now, but they need to have a good season to get to the next level. They don't have the tax-free NIL that the SEC schools have, to make up for last year's crapshow of a season.

Because they have boosters who will make tax-free, unreported payments like that under the table - without regard to legalities - and we do not have people doing that like them and some other schools. To be clear, it’s not NIL. I don’t doubt that our NIL is better than theirs.
 
NIL is a write-off. Gifting a kid $$ isn't but when you already make enough money to throw it around, you don't care as much about the write-off as you do getting caught doing something illegal. This has been going on for longer than most of us have been alive. The FEDs haven't gone after it and the NCAA is toothless now.
