This is Mario's biggest recruiting win by far. To get a top DT of all positions out of NC to flip from Clemson considering the recent history they've had with their DL getting drafted. Big Big get!
It's certainly marks a cosmic shift in the trajectory of the two teams. I'm praying in 5 years we can all point back to this date and say mm hmm.

NIL is always important, but this is more about having a staff that takes recruiting seriously. Recruiting is all about effort, all about attention to details, and say what you want about Mario, he demands max effort from his staff in recruiting.

NIL only helps to level the playing field from what was going down before, when a select few schools could offer money.
