where did he say that?Donte Sr said UCLA finished second, not Oregon. Possibility of being a hometown hero with Juju.
Jr called UGA to tell em he was decomitting, committed to Miami, turned his phone off and went fishing with his uncle.
Sr said his recruitment is shutdown and Donte wanted to finish everything because it was getting too hectic; family knew he was going to flip to Miami but they didn’t know when. Focused on upcoming senior season

It’s amazing! We just flipped a 5 star California CB from UGA and we got more guys in here worried about dunking on “mopes” than actually celebrating the flip. Couldn’t be me….Welp… a bunch of you guys on here are calling “mopes” out in here because we flipped a top corner so I assume they’ll return the favor when we lose a top player. Then some of the same guys will cry that the mopes are rooting for recruiting losses. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
What is there like a handful of **** on everything mopes left?
On3where did he say that?
Feels good doesn’t it. Year after year we’ve lost 5* CBs to SEC schools, you know we’re finally back when it’s happening the other way around. What the **** did I just read?
Do the words on my screen say *puts down luke warm green tea and slides glasses closer to eyes*
Five. Star. Cornerback. from... Georgia?
You do know OUR HEAD COACH MARIO CRISTOBAL identified Wadood as the top target to coach our cornerbacks right? Like i didn’t go out of my way to promote him lmaoDoes Donte SR know Wadood is on the staff at Oregon???

Just days after finalizing their secondary staff, the Miami Hurricanes have made a major splash at the cornerback position, flipping five-star Donte Wright from Georgia.
An elite defensive back who has all the tools to be special at the next level, Wright is one of the consensus top cornerbacks in the 2027 class.
A 6-foot-1 corner, Wright excels in man coverage, completely taking away an opposing team’s number one option.
His high school stats reflect that, with very little attempts going his way as he puts receivers on an island.
The California native sticks to receivers with impressive footwork, matching routes well as he fluidly moves his hips across the field.
Wright was committed to UGA since last summer, but other schools such as Miami and Oregon remained squarely in the mix for the Long Beach Poly product.
The Hurricanes began to surge following his weekend visit in March, where Wright left impressed.
“I always had high expectations of Miami, they just reached all those expectations, I feel Miami is a big contender for sure in my recruitment,” said Wright.
“I would say I fit in perfectly. Talking with [Hetherman], he told me that he's trying to get into more man coverage and press coverage.”
Plenty of concern was expressed at the lack of certainty in the secondary room following the loss of Zac Etheridge and the lack of a named secondary coach.
But following the announcement of Terry Jefferson as corners coach and the elevation of Will Harris as secondary coach, the Canes look set to continue on the trail.
Wright becomes Miami’s eleventh commit in the 2027 class, joining local talents Sherrod Gourdine and Jaylyn Jones in the secondary room.
