Truth be told we should've blasted FSU, but there's a reason why this was the only game thus far on our schedule were ESPN still had us as an underdog and Vegas put us barely as a favorite. Going into this season there were only two losses I saw, FSU and ND....now I don't see any. Take care of business against UNC and we ride out, and I'm sticking w/ that. We play pitch and catch instead of this RPO ish, and no one, not even FSU, could stop us. My fear was the defense and now they are our strength. Imma take the FSU L as a learning curve for Richt and staff, including at all times against a mobile QB you keep a spy.
Im loving what i see on defense and we dont havethe horses yet think about that shht bruh. We need seconday help and lb depth bad but yo that dl is sicm and could be bacl next season too. Jackson and bethel will get hella burn this week with thomas hand in a fkin club. What worry me is uncs run game both rbs got speed to get to the edge look for those cutt back lanes to mclouds size assuming we go for 4-3 which i doubt.
I watch football just to see defneses like this dog....if it were up to me i would punt on first down just to see a real miami defense man. I love the way these kids r coming together and to think when we get the secondary help its over.
True. That's y I'm anxious about this Saturday; how will the kids respond. Richt said he wants us to be tougher if we get hit in the mouth. Yo, we rag on Brad, but what impressed me was the last 4 mins. Peep game:
We makin' mistakes, we get a missed call going against us which led to a TD for FSU, and then we get a bogus holding call taking away our lead, right? Then, we down 7, instead of scoring, we punt the ball back to FSU...we need a 3 & out badly. Right when we get that needed 3 & out to get the ball, the f'n refs call a bogus targeting penalty, ejecting one of our captains, and giving FSU a fresh set of downs.
Under Golden, it's a wrap...period. Our boys got angry and Chad became an animal on that next series, giving us the ball back. Then Braxton, instead of fair catching, tried to house it. Then Kaaya made a clutch throw to tie it up...
Even though the PAT got blocked, that scenario right there showed our mentality is different...we got punch drunk and came back swinging. Now I wanna see are we angry about last week? Are we angry about our sod being "buried?" Are we still bitter about the upside down U? I want to see how we respond and if we wax UNC, we roll. VT can't handle us and ND is a mess. Get out of October 3-1 and we solid.
P.S-Shout out to Adidas for the new look. The new jerz are lit; still not feeling the tire marks (and btw, those joints don't make it harder to grab on to, b/c JJ got his jersey pulled and taken down which prevented a pick 6), but they way dope...just need the low black socks and cleats. (And naw, D, they still not better than the 14 joints. Lol)
