This is a baffling decision, where the only possible explanation is Moten (and Scott) returning and Blount moving to exclusively DT?

But dude was a true frosh 3star and actually played a decent amount on a CFP team. Idk why he'd leave.

Like Russell and even Artavius Jones portalling would make sense, Simpson makes zero sense.

Question, do you know his financial situation? Do you know current NIL money, offers? Family situation, playing time here versus elsewhere to hit performance?

Absolutely could be, no doubt. But there are a bunch of stupid people now in charge of NIL, and fools with money are soon separated.

Folks might be chasing Miami early evaluations instead of their own.

If Miami lets him walk instead of paying him, well I trust that evaluation if it is what occurs.
 
Blay, Scott, and Moten all played major roles and snaps this year. Felt like Simpson could fill that role. Didn’t see that coming tbh

When have we known Miami to be cheap, especially at critical positions like DT? We haven't. So while I hear you, no, I will not give blind benefit of the doubt.

I have no problem with wanting more money, but first your performance needs to validate that intention and to sit out a playoff game tells me he needs to go.

I don’t care about his financial situation. Walking out during a playoff run is selfish.he was a 3 star. He will go to G5 now or fsu
 
I think in modern CFB college coaches have to make so many concessions as part of the new landscape, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I understand business decisions, but good business has business ethics, principles. Not every "business decision" is a good one.
