Miami defensive pressure stat in 2018

I think this D Line will end up being better than last year, maybe the best we've had since Manny arrived if we get Nesta back in full form and avoid anymore injuries. The two deep is simply ridiculous.

I was watching uncle lou yesterday on youtube and he was saying how we didn't stand a chance against the ****...he NEVER took into account this stat and that was my main complaint against his analysis of the game. Our main strength just happens to be their main weakness.

Franks played 7 games vs FBS opponents with a winning record.
In those 7 games, he completed 55.2% of his passes (73rd in the country), threw for 6.2 YPA (76th), with 6 TDs and 4 INTs. (77th best rating).
I keep telling you, this kid is SUPER trash. Containing him and their running game is the only key here. We know Miami is going to get pressure on passing downs. We know this kid is hot garbage overall, and even more so when pressured. So the only way they move the ball successfully on Miami is by running, both with their backs and with him. In his last 4 games last year, he ran the ball a lot more than he did in the first 8. His 3 highest number of rushes on the season were all in the last 4 games (16 against USCe, 12 against FSU, 14 against Michigan).
That's their blueprint and what all the gator backers are hanging their hat on. Those last 4 games, when he was supposedly awesome. No, he sucked like he always does, he just ran the ball more. Limit the run game, put it on his shoulders to use his arm to win, and they're screwed. He's awful.

it's amazing to see the gator fan's overconfidence. i simply don't understand it. well i take that back i kind of do, we felt that way after 2017 and going 10-3 lol it's such a similar situation it's crazy. they think a mediocre QB is going to get better and put them over the top. but this kid is just simply that, mediocre. the potential rude awakening coming can't get here soon enough
