Miami Continuing To Receive Votes In Latest AP Poll

The Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team is still getting votes this week after finishing 1-1 against the teams from Virginia.

The Hurricanes lost to the Virginia Cavaliers due to some final free throws at the end of the game on Saturday night, after Virginia's point guard Chance Mallory sealed the deal. However, Miami managed to get past Virginia Tech in a nail-biting final possession game, winning with a score of 67-66.

I'm good with this. I think a UVA win would have deserved a rankings breakthrough this week, but it wasn't meant to be. Keep winning, let the chips fall where they may. These last 4 games are anything but gimmies. Big tests down the stretch to see if we can lock up a top-4 double-bye in the ACC Tourney.
