Miami considering hiring chief of football staff

If Blake and the university actually follow through on this it would be a good thing especially for him as an AD.

Then he could concentrate on running the dept and not have to devote as much time to the football side. Also he could always say The Chief of Football Ops makes all the decisions regarding the football program.

This guy took it from the 790 Hochman interview I’m sure... he was directly asked if highsmith was a candidate and deflected saying the guy has to be the “right fit” and have “chemistry” with Diaz

Chemistry WITH Diaz? ****, I'm all for using chemistry to get RID of Diaz.

thats fine w me. if he cant make the right moves to fix the program then find someone who can do that. delegate that task out. would be the best move blake could ever make as AD

I agree, but just shows once again how incompetent he is

So it puts someone that is knowledgeable between the AD and HC? That sounds like a good plan.

Yup someone with experience who will be making sure expectations are routinely reinforced

Help keep on the look out for potential coaches, assistants, and analysts to come in..

Wasn't Dorsey Asst. AD at FIU? I'd be interested in seeing him take a look at this if Highsmith doesn't couplet the deal.

What about a guy like Torretta? Still involved broadcasting games and familiar with current college football landscape.
