Miami @ Clemson

Line is only -7 Miami for this game.

Clemson outscored UNC 28-3 to end that game. The freshman QB Tate is talented and really started playing well in this game. 20-29 for 215 yards 1 TD, added 26 yards rushing in his first career start. He has good size, good arm, and is athletic.

Davidson at RB is very talented ran for 105 with a TD. Of course their WR's in Moore and Wesco are the most talented duo Miami will face all season.

On defense the big issue for Clemson last season was secondary. Mensah lit them up, well that is the one area they hammered in the portal bringing in Washington from Penn State, and Myrick from Southern Miss, and another S Carter. With Hampton returning their CB duo is a strong group.

If Clemson beats Cal, this game is going to be very tough with our injury situation.

The team and crowd will have confidence, and they will sense a wounded Miami team coming to town.

The first thing you need to do is root for Clemson to beat Cal this Friday. It's the ACC upset special time slot. At Cal, Friday game, 10:30PM EDT kickoff.

If Clemson wins at Cal, then the Miami - Clemson game will be a night game. If they lose it will be a noon game with UNC-ND being the night game.

Noon kickoff games suck for making road trips. I'll be there as well.

I’m rooting for Cal ‘cuz I want Clemson dejected and tired after traveling across the country, even if that means we play at 12pm.

I hate nooners but one benefit is that you can enjoy the rest of your Saturday watching college football at one of your opponents favorite watering holes, basking in the glory of a road win. Alternatively, you can spend the rest of your Saturday watching college football from your hotel room, lamenting why you spent all that money traveling to see your team **** the bed.

Wasn't that the preseason line?

I don't think Clemson is a good team. That QB will have his ups and downs. UNC also isnt very good, IMO. Their QB was worse than Clemson's freshman. Miami does need to get healthy tho and figure out the IOL.
