Possibly:

Jalen Hurts and or Tate Martell QB

all of these positions were positions of need where we missed out on out top Targets. Be it Stevenson/Neal/ Haselwood/ Marcus Crowley/ Michael Johnson Jr.

We could have filled this class with "fillers" aka Robert Knowles that are mid tier schools type of kids because not the numbers argument. Instead... We have Manny going the grad transfer route and adding Miami quality blue Chip players that fill those exact needs. This is a GREAT sign that this staff will not settle and will get creative in adding talent. Recruits in S Fla don't come? He is going to find very good transfers to fill in the Gap and give us the best team possit. If this team wins big next year you will start seeing cat 20 and 21 loading up and Manny continuing to add depth through the Portal. This man gets it.. El Manicero is owning the Portal like Darkseid.

Don’t disrespect Robert Knowles..he was ESPN 4 star recruit. Tighten up...but as for your valid points o agree 💯..I look at it like we just got 4 4/5star caliber players who will contribute day one at that level. Are they as “talented” compared to the guys in HS we missed, no. But they will be ready to go from the get go. If we get jalen hurts we will be in the playoff discussion next year

What was he rated by rivals and 247? What we're his major offers besides Miami?

The biggest get this class has so far . NO lie . We need great OL as most of ours suck ( beside Donaldson and maybe 1-2 others) and this kid fits the bill. He and Payton are the 2 best players we brought into the program this year though the 2 transfers we have gotten the past 24 hours are up there to.

really is. we need depth, he can probably help.
I like the transfers they brought in but i prefer hurts becase hes a winner and martel's osu highlights are not impressive.

Diaz must have been a **** of a used car salesman in a previous life. 3 offensive players with no offensive staff.
 
Pretty incredible the haul the last 24-48hrs as you stated with no offensive staff to utilize for recruiting. Unless Manny let them know who’s coming and got the kids all excited? That, or they know the U isn’t going back circa 1982 offensively, see the holes in our depth, and know they’ve got a fantastic shot at starting or at worst playing a ton.

I prefer the transfers over the guys we "missed." No idea how the HS kids will handle complexity of college systems or game speed. Can only guess based on competition against weak HS opponents. Easy to be dominant in HS. With transfers, we get a known commodity. A lot less guessing about when/ if they can contribute.

Elite players from all over the country who realize they've been lied to about getting a starting job when they have multiple 5 stars ahead of them will want to transfer to paradise. They got their money already. NCAA accidentally gave Miami its best chance to compete with the SEC and other bag dropping schools. I fully expect Emmert to announce a cap on the number of transfer players a school can accept.
 
I've been really ticked off with recruiting lately and all these local kids spurning us, but if we can continue to play the transfer market this well we could be looking at the magic elixir. Like someone eluded to, in many cases these transfers are actually a better option because they're more ready to go physically and mentally, some are finished with their schooling so all they have to focus on is ball, and the bagman is irrelevant which means we don't have to worry about the SEC.
