Jai Lucas couldn't have gotten off to a better start with the Hurricanes. After clearing last season's roster, he has already added significant talent to the team, including a player ranked in the top 50 of the 2025 class, as well as some experienced college basketball players who reached the Sweet 16. Lucas has been actively recruiting and recently added two high school recruits: Slovakian wing Timotej Malovec and four-star combo guard Dante Allen, both joining Miami.

I agree with your take. What I don't see among these acquisitions is a player who will be our "Go To" guy? Sorta Offense by committee which can work, but more often doesn't.

There are candidates on this newly-put together roster for sure but ... I'd feel better if we had that clear cut #1 option when we're looking to score.

I agree with this. It's why I really want that Kannard Davis kid

If only we didn’t have 6-7 more roster spots to fill…
 
He's recruiting very well. I think you could make the argument it could have been a better start.


But regardless if we are spending this amount of money we are going to recruit well.
