We knew we would lose a game eventually. It just sucks that it had to come at the hands of the disgraceful gator. Our bats were uncharacteristically quiet in the loss. We need them to come alive if we are to win this series. Pitching remains the primary concern with this squad. We need to see the Rob Evans that dominated the pre-season. This bullpen is especially concerning but Collera could improve that. We'll see.

Our bullpen was horrific last night - we couldn’t find the zone and were getting into hitters counts the entire 8th inning, forcing the pitchers to throw meatballs. Cuvet and Sosa had some of the worst ABs I have seen, over-swinging at off speed pitches because they were waiting on fastballs that were never coming.

Florida’s pitching and bullpen are so far ahead of ours it is really sad.

If we win one, and then the last game is a close loss I’m good with it, but if not, it’s gonna be the same crap as the last several years. Beat up the below, average teams and lose to the better teams.
