The University of Miami baseball team delivered one of the most explosive offensive performances in program history Sunday afternoon, defeating Lafayette 30-5 at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.

The Hurricanes (9-0) scored in seven of eight innings and piled up 25 hits in the victory. The afternoon was highlighted by a record-setting fourth inning in which Miami launched five home runs, establishing a new program record for most home runs in a...

142-37 in 9 games isn't bad, tbh.

Doesn't matter though. Our absolute daddy is coming to visit this weekend. Please, for the love of Jesus Harvey Christ, figure out a way to win a **** series against them. I can't take anymore.

Couldn't agree more.

I started following College Basketball in the late 70's and became a lifelong diehard Big East fan well before Miami reinstated the basketball program

Always been much more of a Canes baseball fan than basketball even though college hoops is my second favorite sport

**** - did I just count Gators winning 18 of the last 20 series between them??

2025: UF 2-1
2024: UF 2-1
2023: UF 2-1
2022: UF 2-1
2021: UF 2-1
2020: UF 3-0
2019: UF 2-1
2018: UF 2-1
2017: UF 3-0
2016: UF 2-1
2015: UF 4-1 (including two games in Omaha)
2014: UM 2-1

Gotta fix this immediately

You better believe it. For 10 years I have said it would be best to take them off the schedule.

Luckily I think they are vulnerable and going downhill while we are going up hill. Time to take advantage

Like fsu in basketball. Statistically almost impossible to get owned the way we do

It'd be one thing if it was Dook or UNC.

We've lost 15 of 16 to program that over the last four-plus seasons is 10 games under .500 in the ACC

I think we all share this sentiment re the upcoming UF series. Their *** head coach had a rough off-season. I hope we don't let their fans forget it w another series loss.

The guys need to come out loose, have fun and get the crowd into it early.
