I think Adidas knew we were leaving and that's why they invested in Tennessee and Penn State at a high level.
Theres a strong possibility you are right. Wouldn’t be shocked that the moment Miami didn’t sign the extension, Adidas reasoned that we wouldn’t take their deal and moved on. They may have thought that Nike wouldn’t pay and they would get us back with a slight raise. Nike backing up the truck crushed that strategy.

i think if we are being fair, have to look at how long ago deals were signed too- was it last year or 5 years ago. hard to truly compare things- but you can look at south carolina last year from nike just getting 70M as a true comp

Silly question. How does that work with a few of our guys signed to Adidas?🤔
That is a silly question my friend.. Our QB had re-signed with Duke & we didn’t let a little “legal contract” get in our way. Those are poor people problems. We back up.

It's also Nike needing to make a big splash. I knew this would happen. Nike is not doing well at all and the focus for the recovery is athletics. Great timing for both Nike and Miami

Soooooo...it's NOT about stock price?

;););)

It's all good, I love ya, man!

I'm just sooooo happy right now!

Yep.

But we had people yapping about the "classic uniform" and whatnot...

...and complaining about the last few years under Nike...

I am a kind and forgiving god. I will accept all apologies...
I won't. **** em.
