I like Adidas too, but this is about money and I understand the why. I’m loyal to The University of Miami, our corporate partners only matter if they help us be a world class University. Time to stock up on Adidas merch, while also adding some Nike stuff(I’ve always preferred Nikes cold weather gear). There’s also some Nike gear in my basement that is about to return back to the main closet!
I'm in the same boat. Problem is, most of my Nike gear was all M/L from 15 years ago and I'm closer to an XL/2XL now lol.

I love Adidas on the shoe front. The Ultraboosts are my go-to shoe...****, I'm wearing some as I type this. Honestly, that probably won't change for me on a day to day basis unless I find something Nike that works better for me. I'm even open to some OnClouds, Brooks, Asics, Hokas, etc for daily wear. Adidas has me covered on that front for now.

That being said - if the Canes are wearing Nike, I'll have Nike Canes gear on next year. My loyalty is with the Canes, not with a specific brand. I'm glad the deal is so lucrative and puts us near the top of the college apparel world in terms of value. Like others...I just want Nike to not put us in clams and palm fronds...let's keep it classic just as Adidas has for most of their deal (yes, I recall the feathers and swirly fonts...those sucked).

I think I'd like to look at some NFL unis for ideas now on where Nike might take us in terms of design/looks. Get some ideas from there...🤔

Anyone got the access to the Barry Jackson article

Open it and find show reader. For me it pops up when i click the top left of the browser. Screen goes black and you should be able to see the article

As long as Nike is involved, giving us good stuff and is throwing the money around then I’m in. Prefer Nike gear to adidas anyways

Don't know how to explain it but as much as the Natty appearance this is actually a signal that..we're legit back. Hate to say it and continue the narrative but you know it when it happens for real.

ND fans doing Miami chants at games, coaches in different conferences going out of their way to hate, biggest apparel deal in the sport. We back back

Exactly. You think Nike was shelling out $20M+ a year for 2022 Miami? 2023? 2024? **** no. And I don’t care about their financial charts. This is simply because they see the writing on the wall. We are as legit of a program as anyone in America right now in every single aspect. We just need to get out of the ACC, but honestly I have thoughts on that as well that are because of this deal.

So we peacing out of the acc with this money?

How does this work with Toney singing with Adidas a few month ago

I KEPT NAMES OF EVERYONE ON THIS SITE THAT DEFENDED ADIDAS FOR 12 YEARS
Defended what? That Miami should ALWAYS take the best deal? Adidas didn’t have the best deal this time, failed to match and lost a big property as a result. That’s called business and if more of our fans actually understood that, we wouldn’t have people crowing today. Nike finally did the right thing and will reap the rewards.
