MIAMI at TOLEDO- CANESUNITED TAILGATING AND PARKING INFO!!!

Well, we've got another nooner. As always, that means a 6AM start. Real fans only need apply. If you plan to arrive at 9am you may be parking at a near by lot and walking over. FOOD WILL BE SERVED til APPROX 10-10:30am.

PARKING IS FREE. The tailgate location will in the area College Dr and Secor Rd Parking Area 25 (see attached map), which is part of the Rocket Hall lot on Secor Rd along the west side of campus. This is the main student tailgating lot, and we expect it to fill up quickly given the notoriety of the visiting team. The cost of parking is included in your game ticket.

So I'm going to try something new for this group to encourage everybody to get there early: Breakfast! We'll be picking up donut holes and coffee from Tim Horton's on the way in, and I'll be setting up a breakfast burrito bar which will include:

Homemade pork and chicken sausages
scrambled eggs
a variety of salsas
shredded cheese
grilled peppers and onions
and probably some type of fried potatoes (working on the logistics now)

Please add a note with your name and that your payment is for the TOLEDO game!

I live in cinci and deciding if im driving fri night or sat morning but i will definitely be there. I went to Toledo for grad school so ill be kinda all over the place to see people but of course ill be in this bih. Probably wont eat but will see. looking forward to meeting CIS people

Just moved to Akron two weeks ago from Orlando and was happy that we had a game in this neck of the woods this year.(Pitt next year )

Lifelong Akron’eer here. I’ll be driving up on Saturday morning. It’s only a 2 hr drive from the 330.

Hopefully not the same weather we've had the last few days

I know highly doubtful, any canes fans watch parties ever happen around here. It's disgusting the amount of Ohio State fans that exist so I'd be surprised if anyone branched out
 
Can we come tailgate if we aren’t paying to eat? Plan on getting to field around 930-945

Absolutley! We just do the food as a matter of convenience. But never required to just come hang with fellow canes! See ya Saturday
 
Tim Hortons? You guys sure your not Canadian ? Thankfully this game is not in December, our guys have never seen cold like that.

My procrastinating self just saw this of course. Is it too late to pay and come to this event? It would be myself and another Canes fan. Let me know, I have the cashapp.
 
Wife and I are planning on being there (She is a Toledo Alum but will be in 'canes gear) We are about 90mins south of Toledo, be in section 23. Not sure how early but Gocanes737 do you think you will be able to support walk-ups?
