Anyone know when our contract with the acc is up?

I doubt fsu would go to the big 12 cause of the longhorn network but if miami and fsu went the big 12 becomes the best conference in college football.

Even if fsu won't go we should still go. The big 12 could bring vt or gt with us.

The acc is not good to miami. Fu*k them.

I don't think there is a contract but there is a huge buyout. $20 million as of 2011 although it might be higher now.

I think FSU would go because they would rather have us as an in conference game.

Miami, FSU, Clemson, and VT are all football schools. We need to huddle up and negotiate with the Big 12...

The ACC is amateur hour compared to the utter corrupt mess that is the SEC. That league is run by a bunch of inbred used RV salesmen from places like Tuscaloosa. We could never keep up with their bagmen. Besides, only one school has any semblance of academic integrity, every student on the UM campus would have to huff glue for a month and drop 50 IQ points just to qualify to get into that league. UM would never do it.

If we are doing good under a good coach it don't matter where the **** we play. We are geographically aligned with the ACC better than the big 12. If we improve on the field, other teams will try to join the ACC instead of us trying to go piggy back somewhere. No matter where we go, the hate will be strong.

The acc having 4 schools in North Carolina is terrible.

Of course the ACC isn't good to Miami. We haven't done anything to benefit them since we got here, like we were supposed to do. If we win we can be the face of the ACC, our basketball team is starting to become legit, baseball has never been an issue, and if our football team gets that coach we have been missing for years we could make the ACC a big time conference.

I don't want to go to the Big 12 and play second fiddle to Texas and Oklahoma even if Texas is terrible. Also, I would hate to ever have to play TCU or Baylor as long as Briles and Gary Patterson are around.

The path to the championship is so easy in the ACC, we would never make it in the Big 12.

If it was 1999-2001.. I'd be all for it. But why should I want to watch my team get blown the **** out every week? Until we start giving a **** about football we should focus on winning in the ACC first. Why would the Big 12 even take us in? They wouldn't.

You want to see good football games? Well we will turn into the Wake Forest of the Big 12. You wouldn't see very many. If we can win the ACC or even the coastal for the first time in over a decade, maybe then we can talk about moving to a better conference. But why now when we can't even compete in one of the weakest power 5 conferences.

TRUTH

Let me add that we should have never left the Big Least. We were the big dog. Easy road to NC. They didn't equally share $. That gave us greater incentive to WIN.

The death of Miami football is directly connected to joining the ACC. By far, it's the biggest mistake the BOT has ever made.
