Five-star class of 2028 edge rusher Darieon Prescott has trimmed his list of schools to eight, including the Miami Hurricanes.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound edge rusher’s finalists include Miami, Oregon, Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Georgia.



According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is currently viewed as a five-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 18 player, No. 5 edge rusher, and No. 1 player out of Illinois.

He has only taken one official visit to one of his eight finalists, a trip to Notre Dame. He hasn’t scheduled a visit to Miami just yet.

Miami currently only holds two commitments inside the 2028 class, If the Hurricanes are able to land Darieon, he would become the first edge rusher pledge in the class.

I've watched some more of his film and personally I just done see it. If he has legit skills than he needs to slap Jesus out of whoever does his film. Cause it's meh

I mean if you are listed as a 5 star idc what year you are, 5 sacks isn't eye opening. With a weak *** schedule this guy should have had at least 10 last season.
