This week's anemic scoring output pulls the Hurricanes offensive historically back somewhat. We're now just one point ahead of the 2019 squad.

Defensively, this is the fifth best performance after three games.

Last year was a bummer but the problem with looking at something like this is it makes no distinctions between playing one sorry top 25 team like we did this year and two bums vs playing Bama, Michigan State, and the "sorry" team being App state.

I think the results would be way more favorable for this team if we were to play those three games again, but bama was Bama, Michigan state finished 11-2, and app state finished 10-4.

I understand that part of it. It more shows that this program is light years away from where some people tend to act like it is.
