Offensive Scoring Production:
Third worst in the last twenty five seasons. Only the receiver depleted teams of 2006/2007 were worse. It's also the first time that Miami has failed to score less than 300 points since 2007. In the last eight games, Miami is averaging an unbelievably tepid 20.1 points per game. Only the 2006 Hurricanes were less prolific.

Defensive Scoring Allowance:
Despite yesterday's game, a significant improvement over the previous two Manny Diaz teams. However this remains the seventh worst defense in the last twenty five seasons

Point Differential:
This is the third time the Hurricanes have allowed more points than have scored.

This is the fourth time in five seasons that Miami has been within one game of .500 this late in the season. A total definition of the state of mediocrity that the program has found itself in

I think it’s time Miami fan embraces the fact that Miami is historically a mediocre to below mediocre college football team. Chicago Cubs were mediocre for decades and their fans loved them. We had our time in the sun. It’s over.
Agree. We had a great run from 83-92 and another great but much shorter run from 2000-2002.The rest has been mostly mediocre type seasons.

When that POS porter threw the flag 8-10 seconds late after we were celebrating, is when it all went down hill!!

I hope he’s dead because if not, I can’t wait for him to be! POS MF’er!!
Those are my true feelings…. Now back to the gayttis bashing…. 😚😙

Those records are just terrible. Like, what's the point? Other than a brief but at the turn of the century there's only 10 years where it was worth it to be a fan. I've only been alive for 3 of the championships. Most of the players weren't yet born in 2001. There's nothing good here. The only thing left is living in the mark the team made in the 80s and the 58 game streak.

How have we been outscored? Can someone get with scheduling and start putting together something respectable? I remember Al Golden complaining about the schedule. What is up with that? If I'm going to lose by 40 every game I'd rather it be to Bama and Clemson and not MTSU. This is one big abortion that didn't quite take. I hate everything.

Regardless of who the HC is, as a College football program, your number 1 objective every year is to have a top 15 offense, and hire your staff based around that goal…. Anything else and you’re guaranteed to be sitting at the little kids table

Even with Richt’s archaic playbook we were sniffing that threshold

The sins of the past make this next move for Mario super crucial. I dont trust Mario can single handily recruit his way to making Miami great again

That horrendous and cowardly call definitely tore the heart and soul out of this program, and it never recovered.

How that mother ****** and the rest of the sports media that largely ignored that or tried to play it down can live with themselves or sleep at night is beyond me. Their hatred for the Canes is so strong that they rather those young men be cheated out of a title that they gave their blood, sweat and tears for, than have to have seen them win another title.

Our Canes have been the victims of some of the worst calls and decisions in the history of sports, but this one definitely is #1 in my book. The hate is real. That’s why I cringe when I see the past 5 head corches calling off the dogs when they’ve had a big lead in a game. I want a coach that wants to put up 100 on all of our opponents every game.

They don’t hesitate to turn the U upside down and break it, or to run up the score on us late in games. We need a head coach in the J.J. mold, who gives zero ***ks about public perception.

Appreciate the weekly updates on this. In different ways this offense brings back the pain of the Kirby Freeman/Kyle Wright era. Different variables from those squads to now but equally as painful.

If you think the 02 Call was bad....you should have seen the calls/non-calls against Texas and Mississippi St in 81....even worse. That team beat UF...FSU...ND and #1 Penn St....the most underrated team in UM History.

I love when college football teams across America use the Miami Hurricanes as a speed bag. It's just a ****in' wonderful feeling.

To add to the insult….. they would rather give a National Title and to a POS clarett than to the Great Ken Dorsey, S.Taylor and Co.
That is how it all started!

That was 2 years before I became a fan, which was in 1983.

But I totally believe you, brother. These sons of bytches have been doing us dirty for decades.

The scariest part about this season’s results is that the schedule has been absolute TRASH.
Bethune - lol
Southern miss - lol
A&M - lol, they’re 4-7
MTSU- hey they’re bowl eligible now!
Unc - 9-2 but they’re definitely not as good as their record
Vt - 3-8
Duke - decent team at 7-4
UVa- 3-7 and we needed 4 OT’s
Fsu - 8-3, solid but not a vintage fsu team
GT - 5-6
Clemson - 10-1, not a vintage Clemson team either but they’re good
Pitt - 7-4, pedestrian team

We’ve played 2, maybe 3 at most quality teams on our schedule. Imagine when we get to 2024 and we have to travel to UF, ND, Clemson, and wake in the same season.
