Well executed rollout, the template is beautiful. I still think that Adidas could have gone for a happy medium between throwback and modern, but I'm not going to let perfect be the enemy of good. I am still a tad bit disappointed that they couldn't find a way to include a green alternate, that template with a green jersey, and white pants would have been nice, and green pants with white jerseys would have been another solid look. The fan apparel is also on the basic side, but I understand that Adidas wanted to be consistent in regards to this rollout. They didn't have that Miami font in the eighties, so there's no point in having fan apparel with that lettering today. That said, I still think that font pops, and has value, so I would still like to see it used on fan apparel down the road.

Overall, I don't have a problem with the template, they are well executed, and it should get the old timers off of Adidas' back. What I want to see is how Adidas augments those uniforms, what kind of alternates are released, and whether certain oversights get corrected going forward.

Why would they make gloves that try to force our players to throw up anything other than the :neonu: ?

It's ******* stupid.

I like the jerseys though!

Because you start with the gloves like that before opening up into the U and it'll look sweet as ****.

No, no it doesn't "look sweet as ****".....It's faqqotry

I have to respectfully disagree. I am an older Miami alumnus and fan (50 years old, UMSM class of 1993), and I love the old school Ibis on the gloves. Like the poster above said, but I'd do it in reverse...flash the U, then bring the hands together to show the Ibis!

That's actually way better. You are correct.

WTF is all over the orange jersey? Flames or something?

They ruined the orange jersey. The white looks good, though.

Look closely, they both have it. It's the knit pattern that helps make the jerseys elastic. Many of the modern football jerseys I've seen in the last few years have a similar knit/design in them. At least the ones I've seen from Nike, UA, Adidas, etc. Even my son's HS jersey has this. I don't see them on the consumer jerseys that the typical fan would buy, but the stretch, knit, performance jerseys worn by players have this now.

That's their primeknit stitching crap. Noticed it on the last uniforms and was hoping they would go away with it in these. They honestly look like a bunch of diamonds, only thing that is holding these uniforms back.
