IMO, this is what Mario is paid to do. He fights to the end for whales (wins more than his share), but he absolutely can not be left empty-handed in a position group of need. I’m not calling this dude plan B, from everything I can gather he’s a beast! Point is Mario deserves credit for creating outstanding alternatives, which he has not done consistently in the past.
