That would be interesting 🤔.

Momen Zahid 6-5 295

Seems to be a lot of warm bodies at DT still sitting in the portal. I wouldn’t be mad if the staff add one or two of these guys.

Feels like Al Golden times at Safety
lol This kid is coming here for depth and special teams, he would have been a starter under Al, and Golden would have never beat Georgia for Poyser. I understand you want 5 stars only but this staff is not bringing in any Robert Knowles type of players.

As far as Redding:
According to today’s ranking, Cortez Redding is the #21 safety in the 2025 class. In the 10 years before Mario, Miami signed 18 safeties (19 if you add Redwine) and only 5 have been rated higher than Redding. The best of those 18 commits IMO were Kam & Jaquan, who both were the same size as Redding coming out of high school, but a lot slower (Redding ran a 10.57 in the 100 according to rivals NC State artical)

Miami safety commits from 2011 - 2021

Class of 2021 James Williams #1 safety (should have been a LB from day one)
Class of 2021 Kamren Kinchens #41 safety
Class of 2020 Avantae Williams #6 safety
Class of 2020 Jalen Harrell #30 safety
Class of 2020 Brian Balom #45 safety
Class of 2020 Keshawn Washington #71 safety
Class of 2018 Gurvan Hall #16 safety
Class of 2017 Amari Carter #26 safety
Class of 2017 Derrick Smith #113 safety
Class of 2016 Cedrick Wright #36 safety
Class of 2016 Romeo Finley #39 safety
Class of 2016 Jeff James #119 safety
Class of 2015 Jaquan Johnson #9 safety
Class of 2015 Robert Knowles #110 safety
Class of 2014 Kiy Hester #31 safety
Class of 2014 Marques Gayot #79 safety
Class of 2013 Jamal Carter #23 safety
Class of 2012 Deon Bush #10 safety
Class of 2011 no safety commit

Sheldrick Redwine was the #46 CB, I did not add him because he is ranked as a CB.

Where are people finding track times for Redding?

Need at least 2 most teams run with 7-8 total ...

Wild statement is wild. Its like we didnt get the best transfer portal safety at all.

But ya sure Al Golden times.

Dumb
I meant it like when you come into a recruiting thread and everyone is looking for a certain position group. It gave me Golden vibes like when the board was literally looking for DT's WR's etc. My bad I should of been more clear on the post lol

i cleared my post up sir......the name on this list you brought up I see for some reason is Avantae.......Who I was super high on and was wrong, cause when I saw him play in college his speed did not translate to a game breaker at S in college. Bush looked like the game was still slow to him like he was in HS and that surprised me. Loved Deon Bush, before he hurt his shoulder he was a missile (probably do to added weight sitting on the sideline)

Kinchens dog he was a better version of Jaquon Johnson.....JJ was never going to start on Sundays regularly cause of his lack of get off. But Kinchens to be his size and play the way he does is crazy, he's like a gamble S but you take those everytime. Man looking at this list a lot of busts but some pretty good ones as well
