- Four-star WR Darnell Salomon (Miami/Central) said Alabama still leads
- Four-star ATH Jamel Cook (Miami/Central), a Florida State commit, said his top four in order is Florida State, Miami, Alabama and Auburn.
- Carlin Fils-Aime (Naples, Fla.) said Miami leads Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and North Carolina.
- Tyler Byrd (Naples, Fla.) said he's a solid commit for the Hurricanes and hasn't spoken to any other schools. In fact he said no other schools came by this spring to see him.
- 2019 running back Nayquan Wright (Carol City), grew up an Alabama fan as they lead Miami.
- 2019 running back James Cook (Miami/Central), the younger brother of FSU running back Dalvin Cook, grew up a Miami fan and they lead Georgia.
- Miramar 2017 safety Brian Edwards said Miami now leads. Also big on Louisville, LSU, Alabama.

- For the first round of games Al Golden, James Coley, and Mark D'Onofrio were watching Gulliver Prep play. Miami has four commits on Gulliver in Joseph Jackson, Dionte Mullins, Cedrick Wright, and Robert Burns.
- Fort Pierce Central OL Stewart Reese is hearing heavily from FSU and Miami. FSU has the edge at this point.
- 2017 Clewiston WR Tyrin Summers was offered by Miami this spring. Miami is in very good shape and he will visit again this week.
- The entire Miami coaching staff made sure to show WR Sam Bruce a ton of attention as he walked in. Bruce says he is still a firm commit to Miami and is excited about the group of commits he is a part of in 2016.
- Miami LB commit Zach McCloud says he is 100 percent committed to the Hurricanes. Calls UM his dream school.

I'm less optimistic. Happy to hear Fils-Aime has us his leader and Tyler Bird not even being pressed by other schools. Disappointed Saloman nor Victor give us reason for optimism. Thought we lead for Carol City's Wilder, but I guess he's looking around. Always sad to hear OSU coming down here cherry picking and not for 3 Star players like we've done so often.

little bit of knowledge i didn't know is that Mark Walton and Pie Young are close friends and grew up together. Pie said that Walton is recruiting him hard telling him to stay home.
