Miami Hurricanes wide receiver target Eli Woodard is set to announce his commitment decision on June 30th.



Woodard attends Chaparral High School in Temecula, California, and he is set to choose between Miami, California, and UCLA. He decommitted from the USC Trojans on May 19th; since then, Miami has been a school to monitor.

He holds a four-star rating from all of the recruiting sites, and he is the considered as the No. 24 wide receiver in the country for the 2027 recruiting class. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he also holds the No. 15 player out of California.

This past season at Chaparral High School, he recorded 1,070 receiving yards on 51 receptions, while recording 17 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, he tallied 32 tackles, seven pass breakups, and one interception.

According to On3, the Miami Hurricanes are considered the favorite to land the 5-foot-11, 180-pound wide receiver.

If Eli were to commit to Miami, he would become the Hurricane’s 20th 2027 pledge, and the only second wide receiver commit. Check out his film down below:

Both Cal and UCLA have new coaches supposedly starting off on the right foot with solid recruiting.

And you’re right, can’t criticize a player for staying close to home when we criticize South Florida players for leaving Miami.
