Miami Hurricanes running back target Tyson Robinson is set to announce his commitment decision on May 16th.
Tyson attends Brandon High School in Brandon, MS, and he is set to choose between Miami, Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Arizona State, among others.
He holds a four-star rating from all of the recruiting sites, and he is the consensus No. 15 running back in the country for the 2027 recruiting class. He also holds the No. 8 player out of Mississippi.
During his sophomore season at Brandon High School he racked up a total of 1,295 rushing yards, on 176 carries, while going for 24 rushing touchdowns and catching 42 balls for 689 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Aside of football, he participates in the schools track and field team, where he dominates. He ran an official 11.2 in the 100 meter race last spring.
After the Hurricanes missed out on Mason Johnson-Cook to Auburn, the hurricanes are shifting their focus on a new running back target.
If Tyson were to commit to Miami, he would become the Hurricane’s ninth 2027 pledge, and the only running back commit.
