The issue is where the money is going. There may be a lot of "There's no way TAMU is THIS bad" bets going on, who knows. People bet on emotion, people bet on a lot of things that have nothing to do with actual logic or common sense.
 
Should be a pick ‘em. Could easily win or lose. Dont think we’re gonna get the same clunker game App State got.

Which would mean you pick Miami to cover lol. I'm an App State grad so I watched all of that TAMU App game. TAMU's offense is horrible. App gave up over 600 yards the week before to UNC and then held TAMU under 200 total yards of offense. I would be shocked if Miami does not win this game.

Y’all are so dumb. They use the algorithms to set opening lines and totals. They then adjust those lines and totals based on money coming in, both by amounts and who bets.

  • Miami is 7-1 straight up (SU) in their last eight games.
  • Miami is 5-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 6 road games.
  • Texas A&M is 13-2 SU in their last 15 home games.
  • Texas A&M is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games.
  • The total has gone Under in 9 of A&M's last 13 games as when the Aggies are favored.

My guess is that it’s on Miami. Again, people don’t follow Miami like we do. They see #13 getting +6.5 vs #24. Then they see 70-13 & 30-7. We will without a doubt in my mind be getting the action. Usually these lines don’t turn out well for the higher rank in my experiences betting college football.

Well that’s not a encouraging thought. My take is Mario last year went to Ohio State and beat them almost a impossibility. I remember many years ago Miami back in the day went to OSU and beat them. So it depends if the environment is a non issue or not. TVD is the one who can outright control our destiny if he stays composed we probably win.

I agree. Vegas isn’t always right & my theory could be completely wrong. We were also underdogs vs ND in 17 & beat the living **** out of them. You never know.

Lost back to back 2 seasons in a row. At home in and away.
But a ranked team losing 2 in a row at home is very rare.
