This is a perfect game for TVD to come out slinging to back their D off the LOS. They are going to be expecting the run, and aiming to stop that first. Sure, we can TRY to run on them early, but I really like our odds of torching them deep, backing them up, then running it down their throats.

Yeah, our secondary is still in the habit of making QBs look better than they are.

Your mouth to G-d’s ears! Would love nothing more. Seemed like we had to throw to open up the run this week. Also the backs got a little ahead of themselves in hitting the holes early. But TVD will need to be on to throw against the defense after last week and our OLine better be prepared for the stunts that they are going to see.

Get up early. They don’t have an offense that can score from behind.

I agree. It’s going against what the philosophies are but I can’t imagine these group of coaches being stubborn w their schemes

I don’t think he ever lost to a nonconference unranked foe before this past weekend either

Sadly, I can imagine them being stubborn. These are a lot of coaches that have done a lot of things their way for a very long time. Good coaches, but are they adaptable? We'll find out this year.
 
A&M has looked absolutely terrible through two weeks. Their offense is outdated, and their QB play is subpar at best. Even then, wouldn't bet on this game. Surprised the line was at -5.5 after their performances, but Vegas probably thinks we **** the bed on the road again.

If TVD gets going, we will win this game by 10+. A&M has a really good defense that will challenge us, but that offense isn't going to figure it out in the next five days.
