the offense needs to play like yesterday every week. talent is there.

With them no longer being bowl eligible, noon kick is perfect for this. It’ll be a snoozer with a dead crowd, get in and get out healthy. Get up on them early and they probably quit. I want starters out before the end of 3Q. I’m sure they are ready for this season to be finished.

Let’s hope they don’t hire Franklin before Saturday. That place will be ready to erupt. That fan base just needs a reason to be excited.

I'm actually a lot more confident about this game now than I was 1-2 weeks ago. Yes, I know VT has been awful all year. They are not a good team. I've said it many times. It's not VT I was worried about.
I just thought they would be motivated to play us and give us their best effort. I thought we would not be focused or motivated to even take the field again after that loss to SMU. I've changed my mind after watching our last 2 games. I know the opponents were awful, but it looks like the team realizes we can still make the playoffs or the ACCCG with some outside help. We seem to be playing with a little more sense of urgency, and the defense is back to swarming and tackling very well for the most part.

My rule of thumb is “if you’re hearing about the talks getting serious instead of the hire being made”, then they aren’t getting hired.
