Only way Miami wins is if they do whatever everyone seems to hate. Pound the ******* rock every play.

The only chance we have is if Mario gets sick and can't make the game. Other than that we lose by at least 30.

Only chance for Miami to not get embarrassed is to start Emory.

Emory gives both sides of the ball a jolt of positive energy and vibes.
That might help defense play A game longer and keep FSU offense from exploding.

Emory plays small ball and rides strong running attack and wears down FSU.

We may not win, but we can come out of there without being embarrassed.

You start TVD and not only will we do worse on offense, but I would not be surprised if defense cave in and FSU rolls to the point where Travis becomes a frontrunner for Heisman.
And if you start TVD, and then get cute and bring Emory after meltdown starts, that won’t help. When the dam breaks against FSU, it won’t be repairable mid-game.

So make the call now and make Emory the starter. Don’t even bother with mind games of “we will evaluate the position this week”. Just announce it and save face and give your team the best chance at any kind of success against FSU.
