T-Rob- we've been told he will be back but is he a CB coach or a safeties coach or a secondary coach? May depend on the DC hire and what they coach...
DVD and Field- may both be QC hires- do you "announce a demotion"?

Just realized something... once Mario picks his coordinators and they get poached to be HCs in 1-2 years, we're gonna have to do this **** allllllll over again. I'm too impatient for this. Offseasons are going to suck. FML

I felt the original post was acting as if we were grasping at straws and didn't have hires. I would say that kevin smith as RB coach is almost a certainty as he's liking tweets congratulating him on the job. The others, no idea! but I think we're gonna be just fine was my point

It was mentioned some of the kids didn't respect him. Thought he played too much and one of the kids called him a fake DB coach to his face. Think it's in the "names to watch before it's closed" ... it wasn't brought up until it seemed DVD was let go and headed to FIU/FAU.

Elko has also put together a really nice staff.

The ACC is going to have a different feel next season...

Elko is a great dc. Will be interesting to see how he does as a hc.

If this is true then why is he being retained and why do recruits speak about him positively. Not sure how I feel one way or another on DVD. Maybe someone with more knowledge can speak on if he is a net positive or not for this program.
