Miam players competing it Wasn’t a Bad Game

Garcia didn’t make any throws that were better. Jacurri could’ve converted that 1 yard TD pass too. He made a couple nice throws and missed some but if Gattis actually allowed him to throw, and had a real offense, Brown would be able to get into a rhythm and hit on more downfield throws. The playcalling is a bigger issue.
Skinner has to make that catch from Garcia, that was a nice throw. I totally agree our play calling is our biggest problem, hopefully Gattis is gone before next season.

Pass to Skinner was a dime, and he had a TD + a nice blitz pass to Colbie Young, on only 5 attempts. 3/5 passing, no INTs, and should have been 4/5.

Pocket presence is learned through playing time. Let him grow up.

Outside of the obvious OC issue and talent needs… the team competed to the best of their current abilities. Competed the entire game…I would’ve preferred for Jacurri to stay in the entire game but I can’t keep getting emotional over Gattis being Gattis.

The defense was physical the entire game. Mesidor made an impact. The majority of our best players are sophomores and freshman still taking their licks but they don’t back down. Kam James LT Wesley all stood out consistently with their motor instincts and physicality. I Hope Tyrique stays for one more year to play for a better Miami team before he goes pro.

A very good off season In the portal could flip this around quick :stormwarningflag-sm:
No it can’t.

i'm all for the "defense didn't quit"

but they still gave up 40 points to a sh*tty offense no matter which way you skin it

Outside of the assassination of president Lincoln, the play wasn't that bad.
What Incredulous GIF by MOODMAN

Handicapped by play calling, a coach who has no idea how to manage timeouts and the game. Million of injuries.

My hats off to the players, for this game and all the games this season.

These coaches.. I mean Mario.. robbed them of a much better season.

The putrid offensive performance today is not Brown's fault. The OL looked like 10 year olds trying to play against a high school team, yet Gattis continues to call the game like he has the early '90's Dallas Cowboys OL blocking up front. However, it is just soul crushing to again have a wide open receiver with a definite TD in front of him get overthrown by 10 yards. Restrepo was 20 yards from anyone on that first possession of the game.

If they are going to keep Brown in there, go to the Triple Option next week. The young man cannot hit the side of a barn throwing the ball at this time. The triple option would at least give them a shot.

38* points

As pathetic as the offense was with less than 100 total yards and to still keep grinding props. If your not impressed maybe you need to just switch teams already and root for the home state Buckeyes with your in laws

31* points if we count Garcia fumble that really put the defense in a bad position

Yeah but 7 came in a very short field after a turnover and the O had a safety. That’s 9 pts right there.
Plus the O barely gave the D time to rest.

Brown can’t hit the broad side of a barn. It’s not his fault, he shouldn’t be playing right now. He’s a great competitor but he’s extremely inaccurate.
